What does the training include?
This workshop will focus on Autism and ADHD in children 0-12 and adolescents diagnosed in childhood. This workshop includes:
- How common is ADHD in autistic children and adolescents.
- Key co-occurring features.
- Overview of assessment process for ADHD in the context of autism or autism assessment.
- Best practice supports and practical strategies for ADHD and co-occurring autism.
Lived experience perspectives will be incorporated throughout.
Who is the training for?
Mental health clinicians and other professionals working with children 0-12 and adolescents diagnosed in childhood, e.g. psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, mental health nurses, paediatricians, headspace clinicians, psychiatrists and registrars.
